Second Gen

"Then I can go scavenging with you." She shrugged. "I know where to find good berries, wild onions, herbs, all kinds of things."

AnnaMerie nodded "That'd be great!" she said smiling "So are we going to sleep under the stars or in a tent?" she asked Andri curiously

Andri shrugged. "Whatever you prefer. Either at we'll bring a tent in case it was to rain or something."

AnnaMerie nodded "That'll probably be the best idea - just in case" she told Andri "We should bring chocolate and crackers for s'mores!"

"Of course!" Andri chuckled. She normally tried to avoid overindulging on junk food, but s'mores... She fuckin loved s'mores.

"And ice cream - I don't even care if I need to drink it we're taking ice cream and you're going to try it" AnnaMerie said, chuckling

"Fine, fine. I don't know if it would be cold enough but- we could bring a cooler for it?"

AnnaMerie nodded "A cooler will probably be a good idea - ha, we could bring some wine and have a glass or two"

Andri chuckled. "Alright, but only because I'm pretty immune to most of alcohols effects. You build up a shitton of tolerance when you live as long as I do."

AnnaMerie chuckled "I know I know - I don't plan to get intoxicated - just to enjoy the taste and spend some time with you - we haven't had our personal time in forever" she said

"I know. Between my hunting and the kids... We haven't had much time I guess. The Hunter's job is never done." Andri sighed. "I just wish Guardian would stop getting in my way. I mean, she's human, so I dont want to like seriously hurt her. But... Damn she makes my job so much harder. I don't see why she wants to defend the monsters and people I hunt- i mean, the vast majorityg of them are mass murderers of rapists or child molesters that need to be taken down before they hurt people again. 
"She has it in her mind that all life is precious, even that of those kinds of people..." Andri shook her head. "It's naive, it's annoying, and she won't stay out of my way."

AnnaMerie rubbed the back of her head a bit and smiled awkwardly "Well Andri I kind of understand her. I understand that it needs to be done, but I mean....I'm sure the way she sees it, it's kind of like: who are you to make that kind of a decision...." she said and bit her lip "I don't want those kinds of people near me - or my children, and if they haven't been caught by police or the proper authority then those who have murdered deserve to die" she said and cleared her throat a bit

"Are you done?" she asked, motioning to Andri's plate "Or do you want me to make you some more?" she added, smiling a bit

Andri nodded. "I get her point of view, but she doesn't seems I understand that by killing one person, I can save countless lives." Andri shrugged. "Yeah, I'm done."

AnnaMerie smiled and shrugged "They have different mindsets - maybe she believes what's meant to be is meant to be" she said as she took the plate and started to clean the dishes

"Well I believe that the fates can always be changed, even by just one person." She dried and put away the dishes with her.

"I'm just saying that Dewshine may not agree with you" AnnaMerie told her calmly, then put her wet hands on Andri's face laughing "I'm ok regardless"

"Dewshine? She just distances herself from it." Andri shrugged. "You're thinking ifSilverstar- she's the Guardian."

"I meant Silverstar - I'm sorry there's way too many names for me to work out here" AnnaMerie said dope slapping herself

Andri chuckled. "But speaking of the villagers, I don't think I ever showed you Dewshine's village. I've hung out with Dewshine in my woods, but i haven't really been to the village lately. Wonder how they are doing."

AnnaMerie looked at Andri, and leaned backwards on the counter "No, you've never even brought me to your forests, Andri" she chuckled "I'd love to go and see sometime"

"Alright then. Heh, maybe we'll camp in my secret getaway spot of the forest."

"Where's that?" AnnaMerie asked, looking over at her "What's that" she added

"It's in my forest. It's this giant cave that is a but underground. It has a hot spring in it, and there are old statues and ruins about. But it's all beautiful. Gems stick out from the wall and glisten when I set up the lights. It's a really beautiful place. I believe it is an old underground temple where the village before Dewshine's would come to worship their deity. Its been abandoned for what appears to be centuries. No booby traps or anything. It's almost a shame the temple isn't restored and used. But I dont want to restore it. I think... It might be disrespectful to change the ruins." Andri shrugged. "I don't believe in the diety, at least not in the same sense as other humans tend to believe in theirs, but I do tend to leave an offering of something whenever I leave, to sort of give respect and thanks to the [albeit abandoned] temple for letting me spend time there peacefully."

AnnaMerie beamed at Andri "I'm glad you do that!" she said and bounced a bit "I don't think you should change it either - thank you for doing it" she said as she pictured the area with a small hum of pleasure. She leaned back on the counter and crossed her arms "So is it like, a hot pool or just a regular pool?" she asked "Oh! Is there anywhere there that has a glow worm cave there?" she asked excitedly

AnnaMerie itched her head and wandered over to the other side of the kitchen where she began to pull everything out for the breakfast. She took out a bowl, flour, eggs, and everything else she would need. She made the batter and got the bacon ready. She portioned everything and made sure there was more than enough for everyone there - with the pans all set up and waiting while she listened for Andri's answer.

"Yeah. At the very least, I feel that its a way of me thanking Nature for the place." She smiled. "I leave a plate of food from the last dinner that I have there. It's like offering Nature to have dinner with me before I leave. Of course, Nature doesn't show up or anything, but the offering is always gone when I come there the next time. I see that as it being accepted, even if an animal ate it or something. And Nature probably doesn't eat, but it's really the thought that counts for this stuff I think." Andri smiled. 

"The hot spring is a warm pool of water- not quite big enough to be a lake, but a good size for quite a few people- at the edge of one of the cave rooms. If it isn't quite warm enough, I simply warm some rocks over the fire for a while, then put them in. 
"It's a really relaxing and healing hot spring. I go there after hunts sometimes.

"A glow worm cave... Hm... I think there might be? I mainly stick to the center room with the hot spring, but I might remember seeing a tiny part of the cave a long time ago that had glow worms. I forgot exactly where it is, but we can explore the cave some. There's some really cool other rooms too. There's this one room, that if you play music, the music will resonate throughout the entire cave. I feel it's where the old villagers would go in the temple to dance and sing and play instruments and stuff for the deity." Andri chuckled. "Considering the few instruments I've found in then Ruins, I think their music was actually more like pop or rock than slow gospel. I think they liked t play upbeat music. Im pretty sure their deity is supposedly a God or goddess of healing and energy, based on what Dewshine says she can make out of the old markings on the statues in the cave. So upbeat music would make more sense, to symbolize the energy that their deity gave them.
"There's also a room full of wonderful plants and flowers that actually flourish in the darkness. 
"The whole cave temple is amazing, I would feel bad to disrespect it in any way."
