Andri smiled and went to her own room.

"I don't know, it's been over a decade..." Richard sighed.

"Yes, but they're not every night now" AnnaMerie pointed out "This is the fist one you've had in six days" she added "So the frequency is going down for sure"

AnnaMerie looked at Richard "Does it honestly matter? What with how long we're going to be living?" she asked

"I guess..." He was quiet a moment. "Do you think Andri has nightmares...? Like, about her old family, her hunts, her fears..."

AnnaMerie thought about it "Yes," she started "Well at least she used to" she told him "When we got the appartment she used to wake me up with them - and sometimes even wanted a hug she was so shaken"

AnnaMerie looked at Richard and rest her head down "I hope she doesn't - I mean it'd honestly be kind of a bummer - we didn't give her enough good memories to help her cope with the bad"

"Well it's not just the old family that I imagine gives her nightmares... I imagine that she has plenty of nightmares about losing you..."

AnnaMerie looked over at him "I most certainly hope not - it's not like she actually really needs to worry about someone trying to hurt me - I mean look at the two of us, for instance! Everyone likes you, and I'm literally everyone's friend - I don't have any enemies. No one wants me hurt - well maybe that old organization but they're kinda, you know, dead beyond belief" she said

AnnaMerie hugged him and rest her head on his chest and fell asleep a while later, thinking about everything she would need to do

In the morning, Andri had made breakfast. She rubbed her eyes a bit, hoping the bags didn't show.

AnnaMerie woke up after a while and smiled at Richard. She squirmed out of bed and moved downstairs, wrapping her bathrobe around her

"Ah, just in time, the pancakes are done." Andri served them on a plate.

She took a bite of one. "Bleh, I burned them. I suck at cooking. I better stick to microwaves."

AnnaMerie sat down and took a bite. She chewed slowly and smiled - it was a strained smile but a smile "They're not all that bad" she said

"You're terrible at lying to me." Andri chuckled. "Seriously, you don't have to eat my burned pancakes. I kind of don't wanna eat them either.
"I'm so much better using a campfire..."

AnnaMerie smiled at her "Then we should go camping at some point" she said "So you can prove just how great you are" she told Andri and leaned back with a sheepish smile "Yea they're absolutely horrible - are you still in the mood for pancakes? I can make some for you before we go wake up the kids and make them help make their own breakfastststststs" she said smirking
