Second Gen

AnnaMerie listened while Andri spoke and nodded patiently. Everything about it sounded rather amazing - almost too good to be true. Of course she believed Andri but this place just sounded rather outside of this world. Though then again there were plenty of things in the world - human made and on that created the same kind of wonder - and even the natural wonders of the world. The alcove that were around, the glow worm caves, the mountains themselves were a rather gloriously interesting. There were animals and forests and deserts and wonderful anomalies all around. She knew she could live for eternity and never learn all that the world had to offer.

"Is there a fire pit or did you need to make one?" AnnaMerie asked, and brightened when Andri kept talking about giving her offerings to Nature. She hugged Andri and kissed her head

"Thank you," AnnaMerie said "I'm sure Nature appreciates it" she continued "I mean I know I do and I don't know why I'm so .... I don't know, happy whenever you say that you've done something like that - well when anyone does something so kind - I don't know" she said and sat down in the chair across from her

"Whoever comes and sees the food benefits from it" she elaborated "I'm sure that Nature uses the food you give somehow - perhaps for some weary traveler - or for an animal who needs it - or offers it to Hatia or one of the Seasons" AnnaMerie seemed to get more and more eager. She paused then and shook her head blushing a bit "Sorry, I don't mean to start overreacting" she said and rubbed the back of her neck with a bit of a chuckle "I just like it when Nature is appreciated - they do so much for all of us"

Andri smiled. "Heh, if they offer it to the seasons, maybe I should start leaving sweets instead. I heard that the Seasons are children. Maybe we'll leave them a few smores. 
"Nature has helped the old village create such a beautiful peaceful place. Sure, I don't agree with or understand some stuff nature does, but I guess what good they do deserves thanks." She shrugged. "I do get a feeling of protection whenever I'm there. 
"It's a shame the temple was abandoned. Maybe I should do more research into the deity they worshipped. But I think the temple has a new purpose- a place for travelers to rest and recouperate. If the food I leave there provides a nice meal for a kind hungry traveler, then I think that shows thanks to Nature in its own way.

"As for a fire pit, I made one under a hole I found in the center room's cieling. That way the smoke can get out and not build up in the cave."

AnnaMerie smiled even more broadly as they listened to everything Andri said "I'm not sure if they even like sweets - or anything artificial honestly" she said chuckling as AnnaMerie moved on to talking about Nature - she didn't voice her own opinions of the kind of person Nature was - she didn't feel like starting a fight with Andri. Some people just didn't seem to understand how much Nature put in to the world being a thing and she wasn't about to have that conversation with Andri just yet or ever probably

"I could probably help to try to see it if you want to know - I might be able to figure it out" AnnaMerie told her nodding "Sometimes Nature will answer me when I ask - well Nature answeres rather often surprisingly - I just write it on a piece of paper and in a day or two an answer is written on the paper - now I wouldn't trust this is Nature didn't tell me in person that it would happen when it could happen. I honestly think Nature just sends Hatia to go and write it on the paper" AnnaMerie laughed

"That's intereting. But I think I'll just keep leaving meals. Considering either travelers or animals probably eat it, meals would be a lot more filling than sweets."

AnnaMerie shook her head "No, Andri I mean when I go I can write it down and leave it in my room. The question I mean - not that it should be left in the cave" she said chuckling

"I know. I meant that there wasn't any need to ask if the Seasons like sweets."

AnnaMerie blinked "Oh, ha, I'm not sure how we had that miscommunication" she shook her head and shrugged "Anyway I'm going to go wake up the kids"

"Alright. Want me to wake up Richard?"

AnnaMerie shook her head "No, he needs all the sleep he can get, just the other kids" she said

"Oh, ok then."

AnnaMerie went to wake up the other kids and had them help her with breakfast

(What kids a were there again?)

(Well presumedly a shit ton. One of Alice's characters, a few of yours - there were some technique - there was that kid who was cutting himself, but AnnaMerie was getting to stop, and that girl who was his friend, there was some sad girl - there was a whole side rp for just her group home she was working with. There was that boy who had the group mind with the aliens and his sister. Her kids, and several others)

(There were technicae?)

(If I remember correctly - WAIT NO THEY WERE IN ANOTHER RP THERE WEREN'T - There might have been one or two that were there but not like: THERE WERE TECHNIQUE )

(ok- so we continue this on the spinoff right?)

(I figure this itself should be here - at least until all the Technique stuff is taken care of. The Spinoff isn't in current time - like, in that AnnaMerie wouldn't be talking with the Technique, that'd probably already be settled XD)

Andri stood off to the side of the kitchen. She still didn't like being in the middle of crowds.

When everyone was done and sitting at the table eating AnnaMerie moved around to Andri where she leaned next to her "Now I'm just curious to see how long he's going to sleep - he's breaking a record here"

"Should we go make sure he's okay?"

"I will in a few minutes - I'm sure he's just sleeping is all" AnnaMerie said "He doesn't really sleep much, remember?" she asked

"I know, which is why I was saying we should check on him if he's not up soon."

AnnaMerie looked at him "Why? I mean what if he's really just enjoying his sleep?" she asked Andri, furrowing her brows a bit

"I don't mean wake him up. I just mean make sure he's breathing okay and isn't sick or anything. Sleeping this long isn't normal for him. I just wouldn't want him to be like, sick or something, and us not think to check on him."

AnnaMerie nodded "Alright. Would you make sure that all the kids are in check and that they clean everything up after they eat? I'm going to go check on him now" she said to Andri
